Welcome to the Quad Cities Behavioral Health Coalition
The work of the Quad Cities Behavioral Health Coalition (QCBHC) will be collaborative, inclusive, cross-sector, results-based, and unified by person-centered care principles supporting client choice. Our vision is that the QC region is known for outstanding, comprehensive, and coordinated behavioral health services that are accessible to all in a timely manner. The Coalition will collectively promote awareness and tell our community’s story, measure and showcase our progress, drive innovation, and support the identification of new resources.

Mental Health is integral to our overall health and essential for creating a healthy community where we all live, work, learn and play. From our community health assessments, we know this is a priority area for our community and that we have room to improve.
Consider information from the 2024 Community Health Assessment:
28.9% of adults in the QCA rate their mental health as "fair" or "poor" and this has increased over time
46.5% of adults in the QCA have experienced symptoms of chronic depression
19.6% of QCA adults feel that most days are "very" or "extremely" stressful

The Coalition has Three Teams
Promotion seeks to create and implement a communications plan to consistently share updates and progress with coalition members and the community; it also seeks to build online and social media engagement in order to share stories, awareness, and promote services; it identifies education/ training opportunities (holding quarterly training sessions); and promotes Make It Ok and Zero Suicide through trainings and social media.
Innovation seeks to identify and review evidence-based practices in mental health and make recommendations on their applicability in the Quad Cities; and intends to discover, spotlight, and/or collaborate with evidence-based work in the Quad Cities [partnering with Promotion].
Outcomes seeks to track behavioral health measurements across provider organizations and develop an annual dashboard.
