Grief and Loss during Winter and the Holiday Season
Author: Kelsey Forkner, Birth to Five IL
Winter and the holidays are both times for considering the span of our lives and our connection to others. Those of us who have illness or disability, are caregiving, are aging, or are wrestling with the complex feelings of grief after a death often feel a bit out of place during celebrations, but none of us are ever truly alone. These books include resources and experiences from people who have grappled with grief and loss, and I hope they will be as much of a comfort to you as they have been to me and my loved ones.

From Here to Eternity: Traveling the World to Find the Good Death by Caitlin Doughty
The 36-Hour Day by Nancy L. Mace and Peter V. Rabins
